86.2kg/ 190 lbs. (BMI 25.5) An encouraging week with the loss of a kilo to put me close to an even 190 plus a drop ion body fat% and an increase in body water%
87.2kg/ 192.3 lbs. (BMI 25.8 Hallelujah, the holidays are over :-) Manged to lose 10 kg ~24 lbs. in 2007, and now my sights are halving that for ~4kg or ~10 lbs.
Obviously something went askew this week so, prayerfully, things will change for the better! (Shall I blame the two late night desserts I enjoyed with visiting relatives -ugh.)
83.7kg/184.6 lbs (BMI 24.7) 17.7% body fat, 55.9% body water Well, a new plateau in the area of body fat and body water tells me I must get back to those morning walks; unfortunately, an upcoming 10-day business trip is going to monkey with that (ugh). Now there's a good topic: maintaining diet/exercise while traveling!
83.5kg/184.2 lbs (BMI 24.7) 18.5% body fat, 55.1% body water Ugh.
Gotta get back to walking or change the time as it's too dark in the morning (sigh). Sure don't wanna hit another long plateau as I'm so close to that coveted 83kg/183 lbs.
83.5kg/184.2 lbs (BMI 24.7) 17.5% body fat, 56.0% body water Wow, even after a week's loss of exercise, I still managed to drop a little weight. Somebody loves me :-)
I still want to get to 83kg/183 lbs with 60% body water, and it can be done because all things are possible with Him.

Well, good news/bad news...I managed to pack on an extra 1.6kg/2.8 lbs 84.6kg/186.5 lbs (BMI 25.0), but[/] my body fat percentage went down to 16.8-17% with my body water percentage increasing to 56.7-56.9%
In addition to five morning walks of at least an hour, I also enjoyed an hour or so of rollerskating with my daughter. We're still moving into a new apartment, so I can see some stress to accompnay the additional exercise.
Next week will mark my 52nd week when I began at 104kg/229.3 lbs, giving me (so far) a net loss of almost 43 lbs (19.4kg) in almost a year (I can be more definite next week ).
Well, we're getting closer after a 400g/0.9 lb. loss to: 83.3kg/183.7 lbs (BMI 24.6)
My body fat is 17.9-18.0% (still trying for 16%) and body water is between 55.5-55.6% (shooting for 60%).
I've been weighing myself as soon as the alarm goes off but will change that to early evenings (~6pm) once I've had ~4 consecutive weeks under my 83kg/183 lb weight goal. I'll also target 5-6 sixty-minute walks in a week.
I also hope to find a new doctor, now that we've moved, to see where my "other numbers" are (BP, LDL, HDL, etc).
Thanks, C I. Congratulations on the proximity of your next goal! Way to go :-)
I went to Fuddrucker's, disregarding my normal healthy eating habits, and had one of the best tasting meals I've ever had!
The poor combination, however, of bread and meat (carbohydrates and proteins) put me into a deep sleep that led me to ignore my 5am alarm for my 60min morning walk. Ugh.
Whoo-hoo!! My body fat has finally made it to the teens! Body Fat = 17.7-17.9% with Body Water up to 56-56.1%!
I managed to add 400g to put me at 86.4kg/190.5 lbs (BMI 25.5); however, now that we've 'completed' our move (well, almost) I started back to my hour of walking and, man, I love my neighborhood!
Seeing next week's weigh-in after a week back walking is gonna be great! I want to hit that 25.0 BMI (84.35kg/186 lbs.) on the way to my sought-after 183 lbs :-)
Strange two weeks now that I'm back to 86kg/189.6 lbs (BMI 25.4)
This day, of course, will be marked as the day my laptop's hard drive began clicking and one for which I'm thankful for his/hers computers. Did I mention the movers are coming tomorrow?
Well, my body fat percentage dipped into the teens this morning (19.9%) before leveling out at 20.1%, down 0.2% from last week; however, I managed to 'add' almost 2kg/4 lbs to go back to 87.5kg/193 lbs (BMI 25.8). Yuck.
Either this is a temporary setback or that lousy fat-hugging stress hormone has shown up (t minus ten days or so before the movers arrive, and we're still trying to live).
Anyway, hallelujah, it's a new week! If I can gain that much in a week, then what keeps me from losing it this week!?
A two-week training session away from Internet access kept me from updating my progress; nonetheless, a Happy 4th of July to those in the US!
A near-two pound loss shows me getting closer to my 83kg/183lb. target weight as I now weigh 86.3kg/190.3 lbs. (BMI 25.5)
We're in the process of moving, C I, so the rebounder (unfortunately) has been packed away :*-) My exercise now consists of packing/lifting boxes - ugh.
I've read where the stress of moving can bump up a certain fat-cell hugging hormone so, hopefully, I can continue to relax during this major life adjustment. If I can't, then I know He is Able!
Dec '06 to Feb '07 = 9.2kg/20.25 lbs. Mar-May '07 = 3.9kg/8.6 lbs. (*not asmuch exercise) sub-total = 13.1kg/28.8 lbs. in six months (102.1-89kg/225-196 lbs.)
Hmm, that humus/ice coffee fast is working: another pound is gone!
The May 30 weigh-in = 600g/1.25 lbs as I now stand at 89.0kg/196.25 lbs. (BMI 26.3)
Our daughter turns 8 today, so here comes some post-5pm cake and ice cream; fortunately, the Fit for Life way of eating allows for such exceptions - ain't a habit no mo'!
Two weeks away from humus and ice coffee and, whoo-hoo, another pound is gone!
Today's "Wednesday Weigh-in" showed a 400g/0.88 lbs drop to 89.6kg/197.568 lbs. (BMI 26.5)
My target weight is 183, so my next goal is 88kg/194 lbs. (BMI 26). Once I hit 84.3kg/186 lbs., my BMI will be a "normal" 25. Three fewer pounds later and I'm at 83kg/183 (BMI 24.5)
I'd swap this slippery slope for the ol' plateau unless I need to get back on the roller coaster :-(
Sure hope warm weather gets here to make walking more appealing :-(
Well, not much has changed for some time, but I thought I oughta to post to let you know about the ol' plateau :-(
Body fat %age: 19.6%
Body water %age: 54.4%
Whoops, that's not good.
Hmm, that kilo (2.2 lbs.) returned from two weeks ago but didn't bring its body fat %age friends!
Body fat %age: 19.4%
Body water %age: 54.6%
An encouraging week with the loss of a kilo to put me close to an even 190 plus a drop ion body fat% and an increase in body water%
Thanks for keeping me honest!
Just like last week; however, body fat %age went down and body water %age went up:
1/2: 20.8% body fat; 53.5% body water
1/9: 20.2% body fat; 53.9% body water
Guess I'm doing something right!
Hallelujah, the holidays are over :-)
Manged to lose 10 kg ~24 lbs. in 2007, and now my sights are halving that for ~4kg or ~10 lbs.
12/12 85.9kg/ 189.4 lbs. (BMI 25.4)
So early Christmas parties give us extra time to drop added weight
:-(
I'll be back in two weeks to note my starting weight for 2008. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Almost another half-pound loss, so there's still room for more!
A pound-and-a-half loss over Thanksgiving! Whoo-hoo!
The winter seeds and nuts, however, are putting my body fat back in the upper 19's lower 20 range.
Still going...
Just in time for Thanksgiving :-)
Nah, I'd really like to get back to at least 84.3kg/186 lbs. on my way down to 83kg/183 lbs
Minor bumps in the road are these obtrusive holidays.
Obviously something went askew this week so, prayerfully, things will change for the better! (Shall I blame the two late night desserts I enjoyed with visiting relatives -ugh.)
10/31 85.7kg/189 lbs. (BMI 25.3)
Staying the course :-)
Still trying to get back to "normal" and was hoping to be at 83/183 before turning 43.
Nothing like a week of business workshops to keep the exercise level down and mindless snacking up - ugh!
But...here's to an even four-pound loss (1.8kg) in the coming weeks!
17.7% body fat, 55.9% body water
Well, a new plateau in the area of body fat and body water tells me I must get back to those morning walks; unfortunately, an upcoming 10-day business trip is going to monkey with that (ugh). Now there's a good topic: maintaining diet/exercise while traveling!
17.7% body fat, 56% body water
Beats me.
How do I manage to gain weight but lose body fat?
18.5% body fat, 55.1% body water
Ugh.
Gotta get back to walking or change the time as it's too dark in the morning (sigh). Sure don't wanna hit another long plateau as I'm so close to that coveted 83kg/183 lbs.
Planning on staying healthy!
17.5% body fat, 56.0% body water
Wow, even after a week's loss of exercise, I still managed to drop a little weight. Somebody loves me :-)

Missing a few morning walks apparently upped my body fat %age. Off to regain my routine her ein a few moments...
My 'official' stats for the last 52 weeks:
-20.2kg equals a loss of 44.5 lbs
In addition to five morning walks of at least an hour, I also enjoyed an hour or so of rollerskating with my daughter. We're still moving into a new apartment, so I can see some stress to accompnay the additional exercise.

I'll walk tomorrow morning :-)
8/8: 85.8kg/189.2, 18.6% body fat, 55.2% water, 25.3 BMI
Today! 83.7kg/184.6 lbs (BMI 24.7)
Man, am I excited!
My body fat is ~17.9% (wanna see 16% or less) and my water %age is 55.6 (wanna see 60% )
Next week could see me reach the weight goal :-)
Body Fat = 17.7-17.9% with Body Water up to 56-56.1%!

The movers come in about two weeks, and it would be nice to see these final 6 lbs./ ~3kg move away for good, too!
Numerous friends have commented on my progress, some suggesting that i stop at my target weight, a definite 'absolute' on my part.
I appreciate your encouragement. Thanks!
A near-two pound loss shows me getting closer to my 83kg/183lb. target weight as I now weigh 86.3kg/190.3 lbs. (BMI 25.5)

I'll be out of town for the next two weeks, so I'll miss my weekly weigh-in.
July 4 is my next weigh-in. See you then!
I've now met four of five goals (scroll down)with the final goal hitting 83kg/183 lbs. Hmm, perhaps I should evaluate these next ten pounds?
Dec '06 to Feb '07 = 9.2kg/20.25 lbs.
Mar-May '07 = 3.9kg/8.6 lbs. (*not asmuch exercise)
sub-total = 13.1kg/28.8 lbs. in six months (102.1-89kg/225-196 lbs.)
